In August, many North Carolinians were affected by the impact of Hurricane Florence. While the Raleigh area and much of the interior of North Carolina did not see much damage, we knew hundreds of thousands of people to the south of us lost everything.
We chose to partner with Balm of Gilead Family Counseling Ministries in Fayetteville to provide support to hurricane victims. At Crabtree Family Moving, we want to thank each and everyone of you who chose to donate to such an amazing cause. For those of you who did suffer damage or have loved ones who did, know that our hearts go out to you as you continue to rebuild.
While much of the hurricane recovery has ended locally, Balm of Gilead Family Counseling Ministries still serves those in need in and around the Fayetteville area, providing necessities for the homeless and food and supplies for families. If you would like to assist their cause, see their latest donation needs here.
In partnership with other local vendors, we will be accepting donations through the end of the week to help those affected by Hurricane Florence. We will be making runs down to the Fayetteville area once trucks have been filled to capacity and will continue take make these runs as long as items are being donated.Items can be dropped at our main office between the hours of 8am-4pm. After hours drops can be made at our loading dock (with notification/weather permitting).3216 Spottswood Street #115Raleigh NC 27615Office 919-500-2013List of items needed (but not limited to):-Water-Non-Perishable Food Items-NEW blankets (twin & queen size)-NEW Pillows-NEW bath towels-NEW wash cloths-Ear plugs-Pampers/Pull-Ups (ALL sizes)-Adult Diapers (ALL sizes) -Baby Formula-Ensure-Socks-Slip on shoes for seniors-Hand Sanitizer-Bug Spray-Clean and Folded gently used clothes-Tools-Kitchen Supplies-Furniture-ALL paper products (Paper towels, toilet paper, tissue, paper plates, plastic utensils, etc.)-Hygiene kits (soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, shampoo, etc.)-Personal Hygiene Items (baby wipes, tampons, sanitary pads, etc)-Cleaning Supplies (Clorox/Lysol wipes, bleach, etc.)-NEW underwear (adult men/women & children)Organization receiving donations:Balm In Gilead Family Counseling Ministries 3110 Doc Bennett Road Fayetteville NC 28306

Thank you for your support for the residents of North Carolina. Please gives us a call if you have any questions about donating to the relief efforts.
I wanted to thank you for the fantastic job your movers did in getting my possessions moved from Roxboro to Durham.
They were very personal and professional. I was impressed with the speed and efficiency with which they worked.
Thank you, again, for your work in helping me get moved.

Cliff (and son Jared) and his team were professional, efficient, timely and extremely personable. They treated our new apartment as if it was their own and there wasn’t a single mark or scratch on any wall or door. CRABTREE FAMILY MOVING treated us as if we were family and we are extremely grateful and will use them every time we move!!!- The Rodgers Family
I would highly recommend Crabtree Family Moving to anyone in the area looking for professional, friendly, thoughtful, and efficient moving service. Mr. Crabtree not only came to my rescue, but he also helped me think through all aspects of the job to make it as cost-effective and quick as possible. He and his team did a phenomenal job, and I will definitely use them again for any moving job. THANK YOU, CRABTREE FAMILY MOVING!- Carolyn Merrifield
